On December 4 and 5, I had the opportunity to attend the 2024 edition of the Power Platform French Summit (#PPFS2024), a major gathering for the French Power Platform community. Supported by the BizApps French community, aMP, and Club Power BI communities, as well as by Microsoft, this event took place at Microsoft’s Paris offices. - In 2023 and 2024, I attended in person, which allowed me to fully immerse myself in the event’s atmosphere and meet numerous key figures in the community.
A 5th Edition Gaining Global Influence
This year marked the 5th edition of the summit, which is growing in stature, becoming a must-attend event for Power Platform enthusiasts not just in France but also throughout Europe and around the world.
Proof of its rising prominence: the remarkable presence of Ryan Cunningham, Vice President of Power Platform Intelligent Applications at Microsoft, who gave an amazing keynote address—adding further credibility to the summit.
It was a really pleasure to have him, and all of the MVPs and speakers who delivered high quality sessions in a pleasant and dynamic atmosphere !

A Versatile and Engaging Format
One of the strengths of the Power Platform French Summit lies in its flexible session selection. Attendees can pick their preferred sessions, which range from 30-minute talks to hour-long deep dives, depending on the topic. It’s the perfect opportunity to discover the latest Power Platform innovations, refine your expertise on niche subjects, and engage with renowned experts.
At the entrance to each room, you have the possibility to scan a QR code to indicate your participation, which calculates a number of points that gives you access to goodies in the partners' stands. A kind of gamification well received by all participants, even if this year, some bugs were noted at this level.

A Networking-Friendly Environment
Beyond the technical presentations and demos, the event offers an excellent chance to expand your professional network. Breaks, workshops, and discussions between sessions provide valuable moments to connect with other professionals, share experiences, and forge relationships that could lead to future collaborations.

This initiative highlights that France extends beyond Paris and offers a valuable opportunity for more community members to participate and engage.

In Conclusion
The Power Platform French Summit 2024 has once again confirmed its status as a key event for the Power Platform community. With strong partner involvement, Microsoft’s support, and a noteworthy contribution from Ryan Cunningham, this year’s edition has certainly made a lasting impression. We’re already looking forward to #PPFS2025, confident that it will continue to expand its influence within and beyond the Power Platform ecosystem!
